Our relationship with our parents is a very fragile one. It may seem that they are demanding and sometimes nagging but deep down they love you and want what is best for you. Remember their great favor upon you in taking care of you when no one else would. Remember that Allah’s pleasure and displeasure with you lies in their pleasure and displeasure with you. And if there truly is something negative about them then conceal it, over look it, make dua’ for them and make sure when you become a parent you don’t have that same characteristic. O Allah have mercy upon our parents just like they had mercy on us. Ameen.
